About Me 

My name is Latifah Godfrey and I have been working in media and entertainment for about four years. I broke into media and radio by working on my school campus’ radio station from 2018-2021, there I learned the skills of properly structuring a radio show and a podcast, I learned how to create production work, as well as became proficient in majority of the Adobe Creative Cloud. From there I was able to possess skills to create my own podcast and pursue my passion in giving other up and coming creatives a platform to be showcased. With the attention of my show I was able to branch out to other outlets I am passionate about and by September 2021 I obtained an internship at the BluePrintGroup, which by January 2022 became a day to day assistant position for Cortez Bryant.I was able to acquire the skills of working in artist development and management, A&R, tour management, budget management and creating, marketing and rollouts for artist, and also day to day assistant work. Shortly after I started to work for Tre Trax and Saucy Santana as apart of Trax Szn and was their day to day assistant. As of today I am currently working with Code Switch Agency, which is primarily a PR firm but serves as a one stop shop for distribution, marketing, and PR. In the future I would love to use what I have learned with these experiences and earn an operations opportunity at a major label.
